Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders). Work setting: Drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre. Rural area. Tasks: Perform administrative tasks. Resolve conflict situations. Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses. Implement substance abuse treatment programs. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Mental health first aid Certificate. Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate. Medication Administration Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Food Safety Certificate. Target audience: Aboriginal groups. Females. Males.
