Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Oversee the preparation of sales and orders. Prepare sales or other contracts. Promote sales to existing clients. Identify and solicit potential clients. Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services. Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service. Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries. Conduct sales transactions. Prepare and administer sales contracts. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Reach to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support. Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services. Resolve product and service related problems. Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Health benefits: Health care plan. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
