Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Determine the size of food portions and costs. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef. Inspect kitchens and food service areas. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers. Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation . Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met. Enforce policies and procedures. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Ensure adherence to government regulations and company objectives. Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages.
