Job details
Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. Work setting: Medical clinic. Tasks: Coordinate the delivery of health care services within the department. Direct and control daily operations . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and control budget and expenditures. Plan and organize daily operations. Establish and implement policies and procedures for delivery of health care services. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff. Manage contracts. Co-ordinate work of doctors, nurses and other staff. Consult with boards of directors, senior managers and government officials. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Supervision: 5-10 people. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook. MS Word. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Ability to distinguish between colours. Repetitive tasks. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Organized. Team player. Reliability.
