Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Airline ticket office. Corporation or company ticket office. Tasks: Attend to other financial transactions, such as plane tickets and travel insurance . Recommend suitable products. Investigate new travel areas, hotels and other amenities. Perform general office duties. Attend to cancellations and schedule changes. Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing system. Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options and travel costs. Travel bookings: Business travel. Leisure travel. Individual travel.
