Job details

Remote location. Waterways. Rural area. Construction site. Tasks: Perform pre-operational inspection. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Transport material and tools to and from work areas. Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products. Handle, sort and move drill pipes, tools, cement and other materials. Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment. Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system. Install clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipment, using hand and power tools. Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems. Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Support the mining advancement by extending and installing air and water pipes or operating ore loading machinery. Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Maintain and repair water well pumps, piping systems and equipment. Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Assist other processing workers in the maintenance and repair of various pulp and paper machines and equipment. Types of systems: Plumbing, cold water and drain lines. Sales experience: Construction materials, tools and equipment. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Willing to travel regularly. Valid driver's licence. Public transportation is available.
