Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Work setting: Various locations. Health care institution, facility or clinic. Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform safety and security checks. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment: Power tools. Security system. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Dependability. Flexibility. Initiative. Judgement. Organized. Reliability.
