Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: At heights. Wet/damp. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Tasks: Clean the crops. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Greenhouse cleaning. Hand harvesting vegetables. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Tie and secure plants. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Cut horticultural crops. Type of crops: Bell peppers. Tomatoes. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Overtime required. Walking. Experience: Will train.- LocationCottam, ON
