By night (8PM - LATE), MATCHA MATCHA transforms into the high-end cocktail bar M2, serving an innovative menu inspired and infused with Asian flavours. We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager for M2?s flagship location, looking for those motivated and interested in advancing in the hospitality industry (and beyond) by learning various aspects of guest experience & growing your skills with us, together.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be expected to provide an excellent and hospitable experience for customer along with:
* Working side by side with the Management Team in leading an ambitious bar team and maintaining premium standards.
* Planning, organizing, and creating processes and protocols to increase store productivity and culture.
* Ensuring routine cleaning + maintenance for a consistently clean and organized floor and storage spaces.
* Maintaining store standards in drink quality and customer experience
* Maintaining inventory by replenishing and ordering stock as necessary.
* Aiding in schedule creation and finding solutions to concerns as they appear.
* Maintain safe and healthy work environments by following WHMIS + Public Health standards and protocol.
The ideal candidate will have a strong hospitality background and is a creative problem solver. They will instinctively put people first, including both guests and members of their team. We are looking for a skilled, natural leader who has an entrepreneurial mindset and maintains poise under pressure.
Requirements
* Previous experience working in Food & Beverage industry (ideal >2 years in Bartending)
* Previous management experience in Food & Beverage industry (ideal >1 year management in Food & Beverage)
* Food Handler Certificate
* Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System Certificate
* Smart Serve Certificate
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong math skills for cash handling and basic calculations
* Able to work well under pressure/in fast-paced environments
* Able to work standing for long periods
* Occasionally required to lift up to 25kg and carry items
* Able to work variable hours including early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and/or Statutory holidays
* Attend paid training and on-boarding sessions before commencement of employment
* Must be able to work 30+ hours per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
