Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Security guard agency. Various locations. Tasks: Assist clients/guests with special needs. Be the point of contact when in need to handle emergency situations. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. Oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items. Prepare and submit progress and other reports. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Wash or dry-clean industrial or household articles. Establish work schedules and procedures. Supervision: Working groups. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Security Guard License. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Initiative. Judgement. Organized.
