Education: Master's degree. Work setting: Community service organization. Tasks: Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and the patient's outcomes. Review reports from health care professionals to determine patients' current and potential functioning levels. Supervise other counsellors, social service staff and assistants. Write progress reports . Develop and implement counselling and intervention programs to assist clients in determining goals and means of attaining them. Maintain accurate records. Initiate, design and implement specialized therapy programs. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Membership with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook. MS Windows. MS Word.
