NVRC values employees, offering a competitive salary and a great working environment.GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICEYou will be delivering excellent front line customer service experiences by providing opportunities for individuals and groups to participate in a variety of indoor sports and/or activities. You will be monitoring rental groups using both gymnasiums inside of Sutherland; providing equipment; implementing and completing the set-up and takedown procedures of various sports and/or activities; ensuring their safety; and making sure that house rules are being followed. In addition, you will be maintaining updates about the rental groups in a logbook during and at the end of your shift.ABOUT YOUYou are a team player with the ability to take direction and enjoy working with a diverse group of people. You are reliable, responsive to customer needs, excellent at building relationships, and put a high value on community service. You are courteous and effective with the public in providing assistance to our rental groups. You are able to make sound judgment calls and are able to respond quickly, calmly, and efficiently to a variety of situations. You enjoy working with high customer volumes in a short time span. You embrace change and challenges.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSStandard First Aid and CPR-C certificates are considered an asset. Previous customer service training and experience is preferred along with basic knowledge of setting up various indoor sports and/or activities. All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check and References as a requirement of the position prior to any appointment.
