Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Trucking company. Tasks: Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Ensure proper functioning of equipment. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports. Train workers in duties and policies. Arrange training for staff. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders. Keep track of shipments. Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations. Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Experience: Experience an asset.- LocationOakville, ON
