Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Wholesale establishment/store. Tasks: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers. Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers. Oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets. Provide customer service. Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase. Select and purchase merchandise for resale.
