*Job Overview*
The Stationary Engineer 3rd Class is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Plant boilers and Chillers as well as other duties as assigned. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will be part of a team of shift engineers that provide 24 / 7 coverage for our Pasta Plant.
*Responsibilities*
Start, stop and safely operate 2 Fire tube boilers - 350 HP high pressure natural gas fired steam boilers.
* Operate and maintain chillers (R-134a), air dryer unit, air compressors, pumps, condenser, heat exchangers, evaporators, valves, and other plant facilities.
* Completes plant rounds, water treatment test of boilers and chillers and add appropriate chemicals.
* Trace and solve pneumatic, mechanical, and steam-related problems.
* Perform daily safety tests for boilers.
* Record of boiler operations and water testing details in logbook.
* Respond to emergency alarms of boilers, chillers, compressors and other equipment's and takes corrective actions.
* Perform preventive maintenance to keep the physical plant in good working condition.
* Perform monthly inspections on portable fire extinguishers, fire hoses, eye wash stations, cabinets, and emergency batteries.
* Performs duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer.
*Requirements*
- TSSA 3rd Class Stationary Engineer license
