Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Assemble, install and set-up merchandise/products. Prepare, package and restock goods. Load and unload goods. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Operate forklift. Clean interior and exterior of motor vehicles. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Organize warehouse and work areas. Maintain work areas. Verify receipts and packing slips. Carry customer's purchases to parking lot and pack orders in customers' vehicles. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Accurate. Dependability. Punctuality.
