Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Manufacture. Automobile. Tasks: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products. Make labels and attach to goods. Wrap goods. Sort, crate and stack goods. Store cargo and materials. Organize and maintain inventory. Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems. Direct quality control inspections. Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work. Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines. Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques. Plan and organize daily operations. Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages. Evaluate daily operations . Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning. Supervision: 11-15 people. Contractors.
