Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. Work setting: Private practice. Rural area. Tasks: Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Specialization in surgery: Obstetrics/gynecology. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Child Abuse Registry check. Immunization records. Adult Abuse Registry check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
