Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Willing to relocate. Budgetary responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000. Tasks: Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits. Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies. Evaluate daily operations . Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget . Monitor revenues to determine labour cost . Plan and organize daily operations. Recruit staff. Set staff work schedules. Supervise staff. Train staff. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms. Conduct performance reviews. Cost products and services. Participate in marketing plans and implementation. Provide customer service. Supervision: 16-20 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Food and beverage server trade certification. Food Safety Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register. MS Windows. MS Word. Point of sale system. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Reference required. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Health benefits: Dental plan.
