Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Advise clients on beauty care treatments. Analyze hair and scalp condition. Book appointments. Shampoo customers' hair. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Supervise other hair stylists and other staff. Apply hair extensions. Clean and style wigs and hair pieces. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Maintain and order supplies. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Hairstylist Trade Certification. Hair styling techniques: Blow drying. Hair braiding. Permanents. Extensions. Twisting. Locking. Relaxing. Pin curls. Roller setting. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
