\*Job Overview\* We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of heavy equipment used in construction, and industrial settings. Shop & Field work Wages to be discussed on experience \*Duties\* - Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on heavy equipment - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication - Use schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems - Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively - Lift heavy parts and equipment when necessary - Work on a variety of machinery including farm equipment, cranes, and industrial machinery - Collaborate with dealership representatives for parts ordering and technical support - Knowledge of HVAC systems in heavy equipment is a plus \*Skills\* - Proficiency in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks - Experience with a variety of hand tools and power tools - Strong problem-solving skills when diagnosing mechanical issues - Knowledge of HVAC systems in heavy equipment is beneficial Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $28.00 per hour Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 12 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationArgentia, NL
