Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Home care and visiting care agency. Various locations. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Prepare meals. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Health Care Aide Certificate. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Walking. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: Experience an asset.
