Full time, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday
*Education & Experience:*
· High School Diploma / GED
· Experience: 1-3 years related experience
· Technical Diploma or Certificate from an accredited institute
*Capabilities:*
1. Can read and interpret component and finished assembly drawings and GD&T
2. Ability to use the following measuring equipment
· Caliper, Height Gage, Micrometer, Dial Indicator, Inside Micrometer, Bore Gages, Thread Gage
· CMM/MCOSMOS (basic operation and some programming)
3. Ability to use the following tools
· Socket sets & wrenches, pliers, screw drivers
· Torque Wrenches
· Drill and Torque guns
· Soldering equipment
· Some mill and lathe experience desirable
*Office Skills:*
1. Able to work with computer programs including.
· SolidWorks/CAD software
i. Creating 3D models and drawings of reverse engineered products and new designs.
· MS Office applications (Word/E-mail/Excel)
· PDM Vault utilization
· Basic programming knowledge for
i. PLC programming
2. Experience in checking detailed drawings including interpretation and implementation of GD&T
Working Environment:
· Lifts 10-35 lbs.
· Mix of desk and standing work throughout the day
· No supervisory responsibility
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintaining communication with the customer on new and existing products
· Work with a cross-functional team (Engineer/Sales/Purchasing/QA/Management) for:
o NPI (New Product Introduction)
o Existing product meets established quality and production KPI?s
o Continuous improvement initiatives
· Testing and monitoring of all production machinery, fixtures, and test equipment
· Sourcing, installing, and validating new equipment.
· Design and recommend new equipment and processes
· Design and submit proposals for assembly/manufacturing fixtures
· Prepare production and operations instructions
· Train production and operations staff on new equipment and processes.
· Troubleshoot equipment, machines, and fixtures to resolve breakdowns or failures
· Ensures that all processes meet safety standards
· Conduct warranty analysis reports for:
o Test validation products
o Warranty/Claim returns
· Manage all aspects of production launch through the PPAP process up to final approval and release to production.
· Assist in QA or Engineering departments when necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
