Job details
A Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the production process within a company to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and on schedule.
*Duties & Responsibilities*
*Inventory & Planning*
* Review and Maintain stock levels as required.
* Enter preliminary requirements into ERP software for projects following a sale.
* Ensure receipts are entered in and disbursements are removed.
* Once jobs are reviewed by engineering, requirements are to be altered in ERP software.
* Following detailing, and release to manufacturing, final requirements are entered into ERP software.
*Purchasing*
* Secondary review of bill of materials to ensure proper materials are ordered to fulfill requirements.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all orders in the ERP system.
* Material Requirements Entry for component orders.
* Expedite product availability to ensure materials are available to fulfill orders.
* Implementation of software improvements, and collaboration with software experts.
* Job Package creation - Printing labels, drawings, and bill of materials for manufacturing.
* Creation of purchase orders from ERP software per project.
*Qualifications and Experience*
* Bachelor?s degree in operations management, supply chain management, or a related field.
* Minimum 1 year of experience as a Production Planning Coordinator
* Extensive knowledge of pre-engineered metal building components and raw materials is a requirement.
* Extensive knowledge of pre-engineered metal building components and raw materials is a requirement.
* Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a requirement.
* Relevant experience in production planning, scheduling, or coordination, often in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Professional certifications such as APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar credentials can be advantageous.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
