Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this position provides overall leadership to the maintenance department, manages capital projects and provides technical support to operations. Responsibilities:Drafts and/or reviews supply and service specificationsManages procurement and maintains inventory of spare parts and materialsManages database (assets, BOM, maintenance tasks, parts, etc.) within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Plays leading role in optimizing preventive maintenance program for plant equipmentCoordinates plant-wide service shutdowns, ensure sufficient resources (parts, manpower) are available to complete planned maintenance tasksPerforms supervisory duties, supports recruitment and labour relations related matters as requiredCompletes other related projects as assigned Qualifications: Experience & Education/TrainingMechanical and/or Electrical Engineering Diploma or Red Seal Mechanical and/or Electrical Trade qualificationMinimum two years industrial maintenance supervisory and/or planning experiencePrevious procurement and inventory management experiencePrevious experience working with CMMS Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesThorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policiesStrong supervisory and leadership skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to read, interpret drawings and explain policies and procedures used in purchasingStrong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities. Interested candidates should click the APPLY TO THIS POSITION icon to apply online by October 17, 2024. Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
