*Position Overview:*
We are currently looking for an *Industrial Painter* who will be involved in a variety of duties throughout the plant. From prepping and painting of manufactured equipment, material preparation and/or assisting with the assembly and of machinery for the plastic industry.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Wet painting various steel parts, weldments, structural steel
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers
* Select appropriate paint or mix paints to correspond with formula specifications
* Use provided equipment to prepare items for paint and coating application
* Operate hand-held spray guns to spray paint stationary items
* Help with masking and preparing materials for painting
* Clean and maintain paint booth; responsible for correct storage of paints in designated area
* Load and unload parts from the line; using hand and motorized material handling equipment as required
* Some general assembly and packaging may be required
*Basic Requirements:*
* Ability to use tools (i.e., tape measure, hammer, drill, etc.)
* 2 + years of experience painting in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs
* Technical school training would be an asset
* Ability to use tools (i.e., tape measure, hammer, drill, etc.)
* Previous experience operating lift trucks
* Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to follow instructions
* Positive attitude and self-motivated.
* A good eye for detail and quality
