ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are currently seeking a Plant Manager to join our team in Langley. The Plant Manager leads the daily operations of our production facility, playing a crucial role in developing a strategy that fosters an engaged, adaptable, and high-performing team while ensuring cost-effective operations.

DUTIES:
* Build strong and productive relationships with labor union representatives, fellow managers, supervisors, and team leaders; work with them to plan and deliver a structured approach for improving employee engagement, communication, and training
* Provide expert leadership to all production departments by coaching managers and supervisors on how to evaluate and take actions that are consistent with the company's overall strategy
* Mentor and develop the leadership capabilities of staff
* Develop strategies to ensure that the Calgary manufacturing facility meets the company?s growth requirements
* Set production levels in accordance with projections and ensuring that these levels are monitored and achieved
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or other related discipline
* 10+ years? experience in a progressive management role, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing or related industry
* Experience within a unionized environment is preferable
* Strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
* Excellent analytical ability and with high attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
