<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Position Summary:</p><p>McMaster, McIntyre, & Smyth LLP is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team. The Real Estate Clerk will be responsible for managing all aspects of residential purchases, sales, and mortgage files from beginning to completion. Ideally the candidate would also have experience with will drafting and estate administration.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Handle all forms of residential real estate files efficiently and accurately.</p></li><li><p>Manage and complete residential purchase, sale, and mortgage files from start to finish.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and review deeds, closing documents, and Agreements of Purchase and Sale.</p></li><li><p>Conduct and review title searches and off-title searches, and draft requisitions.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate and manage files proficiently and efficiently.</p></li><li><p>Manage will and estate files, including will and power of attorney drafting and filing applications for certificate of appointment of estate trustee.</p></li><li><p>Maintain strong organizational skills to ensure smooth file management and coordination.</p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Provide exceptional client service and interpersonal skills in a professional manner.</p></li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>1+ years experience in managing residential real estate files.</p></li><li><p>Successful completion of a post-secondary Law Clerk program.</p></li><li><p>Strong technical skills in Unity, Teraview, PC Law, and Microsoft Office.</p></li><li><p>Ability to handle files efficiently.</p></li><li><p>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills.</p></li></ul><p>We thank all applicants for their interest in this role.
