Shelter Canadian Properties Limited manages a portfolio of apartment properties in Fort McMurray, Alberta. We are seeking an experienced, reliable and hardworking maintenance person with basic plumbing and carpentry skills. The candidate must also be able to attend to minor appliance and electrical repairs. Familiarity with HVAC systems, drywall repairs and painting are considered an asset. Applicants are expected to be highly organized with a positive and professional attitude. A friendly and helpful demeanor is also essential as the maintenance person will frequently interact with residents and work with other staff as part of a team. The maintenance person is required to live on-site and to participate in on-call duties on a rotating basis with other staff. A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and criminal record check are also required.
