*Job Overview:*
We are seeking a motivated and organized *receptionist* to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a passion for helping individuals improve their hearing and balance health. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our patients from their initial contact through ongoing support.
*Responsibilities:*
Serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.
Coordinate patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
Assist with the onboarding of new patients, including intake forms and insurance verification.
Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of interactions and treatments.
Provide education and support to patients regarding hearing aids, balance assessments, and other services.
Collaborate with audiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Handle billing and insurance claims, as well as follow up on any issues.
Maintain a clean and organized front office environment.
*Qualifications:*
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in healthcare administration or related field is an asset.
Previous experience in a medical or customer service role is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using office software and patient management systems.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
