The Opportunity As a valued member of our Internal Audit team, your primary responsibilities will be:Executing thorough quality assurance reviews for all key disclosure documents and regulatory findings;Supporting the completion of audits as part of the annual internal audit plan;Supporting the evaluation of design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial and sustainability reporting, in accordance with control testing compliance requirements; andPerforming additional internal audit tasks to progress other areas of the internal audit function and its mandate.Qualifications:A degree in Commerce, Business Administration or related discipline;Accounting and/or auditing experience is an asset; andAn understanding of the power and utility industry, as well as general business knowledge, including finance, risk and/or internal controls, is an asset.Skills and Attributes:Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities;Effective written and oral communication skills;Highly adaptable and excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines; andA motivated self-starter who takes initiative and works independently.How to Apply If this sounds like you, please Apply or visit us online at https://careers.newfoundlandpower.com.
