<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Due to the growth of our business, we have an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience or relevant Engineering experience in a production and manufacturing environment. Product design & manufacturing experience using engineering theory, knowledge and hands-on practice will be an asset.</p><p>Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering manager, the successful applicant will assist in the development & analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment pertaining to the manufacturing of power transformers.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Support daily production activities by troubleshooting, collecting, and monitoring data to ensure equipment operation and uptime</p><p>• Verifying specifications & maintaining product/process documentation</p><p>• Testing & validating processes, equipment, raw materials, and products</p><p>• Create SOP's/Work Instructions for existing, newly designed, or modified products, process, or materials</p><p>• Preform lean manufacturing, continuous improvement & 5S initiatives as required</p><p>• Assist in inventing & designing various manufacturing tools and assembly fixtures</p><p>• Designs and coordinates manufacturing engineering tasks, experiments, and operational procedures</p><p>• Helps train & guide <span class="long-word">technicians/operators</span> on new processes and procedures</p><p>• Research, compile, analyze, report, and test various designs, products, processes, or materials</p><p>• Maintain compliance to all design requirements and quality standards</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>University degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology / Technologist diploma with relevant work experience</li><li>Minimum 2-5 years of related experience is an asset</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft products and 3D CAD software</li><li>Must be a team player and able to get along with individuals from within the organization</li><li>Ability to work independently to support the engineering, maintenance, and production teams</li><li>Practical thinking with hands-on experience valued highly</li><li>Demonstrated safety first mindset and occasional working at heights required</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package</li><li>Clean, modern, and friendly working environment</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Northern Transformer <span class="long-word">www.northerntransformer.com</span><br><br>Northern Transformer Corporation is a North American manufacturer of liquid filled transformers of the highest quality and reliability serving the North American market since 1981.
