We are professional, customer-centric, creative, and our goal is to brew the perfect cup of coffee while serving a range of coffee and espresso drinks and specialty chai lattes. Mos Mos is the new generation coffee experience. Created in 2014 in Toronto, the Mos Mos view is simple - Coffee may be common, but should never be ordinary! We are looking to hire a manager for 33 Bloor Street East location.
Our ideal candidate is willing and able to learn. This person takes personal accountability and pride in everything that they do. Able to work well with others and manage people and get the best out of them. Although this is a manager, we would like to hire someone who will think like an owner, and would be incentivized and aligned with the success of the business. Operations Management:
* Oversee all aspects of cafe operations, including staffing, inventory management, and vendor relations.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Ensure efficient workflows and processes to optimize productivity and deliver a seamless customer experience.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate strategies.
Commercial kitchen management:
* Oversee kitchen staff and managing inventory of baked goods
* Maintain clean and safe work environment at all timesTeam Leadership and Development:
* Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
* Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and professional growth.
* Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labor costs.
* Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate company updates, promote engagement, and address concerns.
Customer Service and Experience:
* Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently upheld.
* Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
* Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the cafe's offerings and improve the overall customer experience.
Financial Management:
* Monitor and manage cafe budget, including revenue, expenses, and profitability targets.
* Implement cost control measures without compromising quality or service.
Compliance and Regulations:
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and relevant regulations.
* Maintain accurate records and inventory reports
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
* Strong business acumen with experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* Proficient in POS systems, inventory management software
* Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
