*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental professionals in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to ensuring a positive experience for all patients. *Duties* - Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. - Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before procedures. - Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. - Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and treatment options. - Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front office duties as necessary. - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care. *Qualifications* - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. - Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is a plus. - Experience in specialized areas such as Orthodontics, Pediatrics, or CAD is advantageous. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and team members. - Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is preferred but not mandatory. - A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of dentistry.
