Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Dental laboratory technology/technician. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Construct dentures. Fit, adjust and repair dentures. Prepare partial dentures. Re-line and re-base dentures. Fabricate mouth protectors, anti-snoring prostheses and removable prostheses on implants. Area of specialization: Partial dentures. Full dentures. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Hand-eye co-ordination. Fast-paced environment. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
