We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized RMA and data processing individual to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) information, processing various types of credits, and ensuring the accuracy of pricing data. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will be crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting our financial processes.
This role is based in our Abbotsford location and this role is a fully onsite role.
*\* This is NOT a work-from-home/hybrid role and you are required to work in an office environment full time.*
Shift: 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. Monday to Friday
*Data Entry Clerk - Core Credits* responsibilities include:
* Review and validate RMA submissions to ensure all necessary documentation and information are complete and accurate, facilitating smooth processing and return operations.
* Process RMA credits in a timely manner, ensuring that customer accounts are updated accurately and that all credits align with company policies.
* Handle price adjustment credits for customers, verifying changes and issuing credits accordingly to maintain customer satisfaction and accurate financial records.
* Manage promotional sales credits by validating claims and processing adjustments to customer accounts in accordance with promotional terms.
* Process co-op advertising credits, ensuring compliance with guidelines and accurate documentation to support marketing initiatives.
* Provide backup support for core credits processing, ensuring that all relevant data is recorded, and credits are issued efficiently.
* Manage stock return credits, processing returns accurately and in a timely manner while ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
* Utilize strong data entry skills to maintain accurate records and databases related to RMA and credit processing.
* Regularly review pricing data to identify discrepancies, ensuring that any inconsistencies are addressed promptly and effectively.
* Investigate pricing discrepancies, take corrective action, and issue credits to offset any inaccuracies found during the review process.
* Develop and maintain SOPs for the RMA process, updating them annually to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance with best practices.
* Assist in administrative filing and perform ad hoc duties as required to support the team and ensure efficient operations.
* Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor to support departmental goals and initiatives.
*Requirements*
* Minimum of two years of relevant administrative experience, demonstrating proficiency in managing office tasks, supporting team operations, and maintaining organized workflows. This experience should include handling correspondence, scheduling, and general office management.
* A degree or coursework in business administration, or a related field is preferred. This educational foundation will enhance your understanding of financial processes and administrative functions within our organization.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms). This proficiency will enable you to efficiently manage data, create reports, and perform financial analysis as needed.
