Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Maintain financial and production records. Negotiate with clients for provision of services. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Apiary management.
