You?ll lead the design and implementation of official languages programs and initiatives, and work with partners to provide expertise on business initiatives.<br>This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada?s official languages.<p></p><p></p><p><b>What you?ll do:</b></p><ul><li>Research, design and implement official languages programs, initiatives, and action plans</li><li>Monitor and evaluate initiatives to ensure outcomes are achieved</li><li>Develop and maintain internal and external partnerships</li><li>Provide expertise, direction and coaching to other business units</li><li>Foster linguistic duality and an inclusive workplace</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we?re looking for:</b></p><ul><li>Team player who can collaborate with a variety of business units and stakeholders</li><li>Strong communicator able to consult with different audiences and implement effective tactics </li><li>Continuous learner with the ability to stay current on best practices</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you?ll need:</b></p><ul><li>In-depth knowledge of the <i>Official Languages Act</i> and related policies and directives</li><li>A bachelor?s degree in human resources management, education or French literature and at least three years of experience in employment equity, diversity or inclusion (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)</li><li>A solid understanding of change management concepts</li><li>Ability to communicate in both of Canada?s official languages</li></ul>
