We are excited to bring *e2 Young Engineers *close to you in *Richmond, BC*. Founded in 2008, Young Engineers operates *engineering after-school activities* in over 50 countries. Our mission is to prepare 4?15-year-old students for the changing demands of the 21st-century workforce. With over 30,000 happy students globally, Young Engineers has been recognized by the *Harvard School of Education and the European Union Commission*. *Responsibilities:*
* Help students discover and learn STEM hands-on activities.
* Assist in broadening their imagination.
* Impart important teaching in teamwork.
* We are providing extra support to students who need it.
* We are monitoring student growth to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
* Ensure a fun, safe atmosphere that creates memorable experiences with students.
* Learn to utilize effective classroom management skills.
* Deliver Curriculum to students.
* Be on time for all scheduled activities.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move and/or lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds
*Nice-to-have:*
* Previous teaching experience
* Certification in relevant field
* Desire to acquire knowledge and creative ways to impart to kids.
*Schedule Options:*
* Regular class days run Tuesday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
* Tuesday morning 10:30 am-12:30 pm and Thursday 9:00 am-12:00 pm
* Saturday, 9 30 am to 5 pm
* Sunday from 1 pm to 3 pm
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 ? 24 per week
