*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
*Responsibilities*
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications
- Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials
- Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, molding, cabinets, door frames, and hardware
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Perform finishing duties including sanding, painting, and tile laying
- Restore existing structures by using tools and materials to make necessary repairs
*Qualifications*
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Excellent mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual labor
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 ? 50 per week
