The Simcoe County District School Board is accepting a limited number of applications for the secondary teaching supply list. <p>Intermediate and Senior qualifications are required and preference will be given to applicants with multiple qualifications. Example of preferred qualifications include, but are not limited to:<p><p><p> French as a Second Language (FSL) with intermediate and/or senior qualifications.<p> Technological Education with intermediate and/or senior (basic/advanced) qualifications (i.e. construction technology, manufacturing technology, transportation technology, hospitality and tourism, hairstyling and aesthetics, computer technology, technological design, health care, communications technology, green industries). <p> Multiple Subject Qualifications<p> <p><p>Applicants must apply through Apply to Education (ATE) by Friday, November 1, 2024 at 4:00 pm and are asked to include a cover letter, current resume and OCT.<p>You are required to upload your OCT certificate into your ATE portfolio under "certificates" . By doing so, you are ensuring that your current qualifications will be considered when we determine who to contact for an interview. <p> <p>If you are a new graduate and your OCT certificate is not yet in "Good Standing" please include proof that you have requested your OCT under the "certificates" section of your ATE portfolio. <p>You may address your cover letter to Carrie Rumble, Human Resource Services Officer .<p>NOTE: Applicants will be asked to provide two references upon applying to this posting. References may include principals, vice principals or a current or recent supervisor. We ask that one reference MUST be able to attest to your teaching abilities. Recent graduates may use ONE placement teacher as a reference. The SCDSB may contact references by email prior to an interview; be sure to provide current email addresses for references.
