*Robco is looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our team as a Technical Sales Representative. *This dynamic position offers you the opportunity to work on the road through western Canada. Travel for a few days will be required periodically to ensure superior service to our customers.
*FIELD SPECIALIST*
Location : British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan
As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for taking accurate measurements, identifying opportunities for improvement and *developing strong relationships with our customers*. Your technical and mechanical mindset, combined with your ease with machines and people, will enable you to understand our customers' specific needs.
You will work closely with your team to find solutions to the problems you identify. You will cover both Robco and Prodimax division needs.
*Responsibilities:*
* Make regular visits to our industrial customers to assess their fluid, gas or temperature insulation needs and take accurate measurements;
* Identify opportunities for improvement, focusing on the efficiency, safety and performance of industrial processes;
* Establish and maintain trusted relationships with our customers, becoming their main technical point of contact;
* Provide ongoing technical support to customers, answering questions, solving technical problems and delivering superior service;
* Provide product training and maintenance to small groups.
*Ideal profile:*
* Technical or mechanical background with a thorough understanding of industrial processes and/or industrial equipment;
* Experience in B2B sales and/or customer relations;
* Experience in the oil industry or with insulating materials, a strong asset;
* Can easily understand how machines work;
* Ability to analyze needs and make recommendations;
* Excellent communication skills ? English written and spoken;
* Strong interpersonal ability;
* Flexibility and availability to travel over several days in order to provide a complete service to our customers (average of 2 weeks per months, no weekends).
Holding a valid driver's license in a Canadian province or territory at the time of application is mandatory.
