We own and operate a Fibre Optic and wireless network enabling us to be a unique competitor in the market.</p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>We are currently in search of a Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. We're looking for an individual who is highly motivated and energetic, equipped with excellent communication and sales skills. In this role, you will be responsible for introducing our products and services to business clients in our service area and managing existing customer relationships.</p><p>Our driven Sales Cosultant's primary focus will be to generate sales and drive revenue growth to meet targets. You will be required to drive certain activities that result in product demonstrations and proposals. Regular duties include the further development of your professional network, prospecting via phone, e-mail or other medium, including face-to-face/door-to-door and follow-up letters/e-mails.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Prospect and sell our services to small and medium businesses.</li><li>Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with Business owners, managers and/or IT decision makers through personal contact and outstanding customer service.</li><li>Traveling to meetings with new and existing clients.</li><li>Submit clean and accurate service order packages for all closed sales.</li><li>Upsell and manage services to existing clients.</li><li>Carry out and assist with marketing activities.</li><li>Deliver weekly and monthly sales forecasts and reports as outlined by management.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will have:</p><ul><li>Extensive experience in cold calling, door-to-door outreach, and identifying new business opportunities.</li><li>Demonstrated success in customer interactions, including leading presentations and managing in-person meetings effectively.</li><li>Expertise in B2B sales within the SMB sector, particularly in telecommunications or other technical industries.</li><li>Strong organizational abilities, capable of juggling various priorities while achieving sales goals and quotas.</li><li>Proficient in digital tools, especially Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.</li><li>Requires access to a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.</li><li>Prior experience in telecommunications is a valuable advantage.</li><li>A post-secondary degree in business administration, commerce, or a related technical discipline is a plus.</li><li>Minimum two years outside sales experience.</li><li>Attention to detail and effective time management and organizational skills are essential.</li></ul><p>Compensation for this role will include a base salary and commission.</p><p>This is a hybrid work position.</p><p>Standard Broadband is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all interested parties.
