*Job Summary*
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth. You will develop and expand the market for our alcohol, drug testing and metrology products into the Asian region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, customer relationship management, and project management.
*Duties*
· research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services; or new ways of reaching industrial safety and law enforcement markets in the Asian region;
·seek out the appropriate contacts in an organization, generate leads and cold call prospective customers or dealers;
·meet with customers and dealers in person or by other electronic means of communication to provide training and support and identify new market opportunities in the Asian region;
·develop relationships with key accounts and provide support for marketing, sales personnel and customers;
· understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively in order to develop and improve the business;
· investigate competitive products from other manufacturers to determine advantages or weaknesses and to develop a strategy for the introduction of the alcohol, drug testing and metrology products;
·research and comprehend the regulatory environment and approval process for introduction of alcohol and drug testing products into the various counties in the Asian region;
·liaise with international staff and group of companies to understand marketing approaches and product innovations;
·Identify and participate in tradeshows to exhibit and foster an interest in the Company's products;
·report to management regularly about progress, performance and business opportunities in the Asian region;
·Increase sales in the region
*Qualifications*
·Bachelor?s degree in mechanical or electronic engineering or related discipline;
· a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in business development;
·knowledge of the transportation, industrial safety and law enforcement markets in the Asian region;
·experience with alcohol, drug testing and metrology products in this market ;
·knowledge of international quality standards for manufacture of products for these safety markets, including ISO, IATF and the ability to explain these standards;
·experience with development of product presentations and training materials for the customers and dealers in these markets;
·*excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin. Cantonese is a plus;*
·strong motivational skills and abilities in creative resolutions with tenacity and drive to seek new business opportunities;
·strong interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to work with a variety of customers and dealers in the emerging markets;
·must have and maintain a clean criminal record; and
· must have a travel passport with no restrictions for travel into Asian countries
