*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and be proficient in using various hand tools. This position involves working on roofs to install, repair, or replace roofing materials. *Duties* - Perform roof inspections to identify damage or leaks - Install new roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal panels - Repair damaged roofs by replacing broken tiles, shingles, or flashing - Apply caulking and sealants to protect roofs from water damage - Work with blueprints and follow specifications for roof installation - Use hand tools and equipment to complete roofing projects - Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion *Experience* - Previous experience as a Roofer or in a related field is preferred - Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment - Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights - Knowledge of carpentry and building principles is a plus - Familiarity with blueprint reading is advantageous Job Type: Full-time Pay: $37.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * roofing: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationVictoria, BC
