*Norfort Gymnastics Association is currently looking to hire a Cheerleading Director for our Competitive Cheerleading Program, Northern Cheerleading All Stars. * *Start date: *Immediately or, as soon as possible. *Terms of Employment:* A 40 hour/week - mostly consisting of afternoons, evenings, weekends and special events. Needs to be familiar with concepts, procedures and All-Star Cheerleading technical knowledge. Candidates must be able to demonstrate they have coached cheerleading through progressions of the All Star Cheerleading levels 1-4. Candidate must be willing to travel for weekend competitions. We offer a competitive salary with a strong benefits package. *Qualifications:* Minimum credentials of level 4 International Cheer Union Certification or willing to obtain. Standard First-Aid & CPR Making Ethical Decision and Respect in Sport Certificates Basic Administrative Skills (Daily email communications, program planning, etc.) *Candidate Attributes:* Organized, reliable, with effective communication skills. Has an eye for detail. Strong problem solving skills in a fluid environment. Ability to work well individually and as part of a team. *Responsibilities:* ? Supervise athletes in a safe and effective manner*.* ? Act as a role model for athletes and exhibit good spirit on and off the mat. ? Provide day to day leadership and instruction for the NCA Cheer program. ? Work collaboratively with coaches and management by planning and communicating ? Participate in internal club events and competitions as assigned ? Assist the Manager with arranging travel itineraries, scheduling and accommodations for coaches ? Must maintain all lesson plans for CITs and coaches ? Develop and ensure the effective delivery of short- and long-term goals ? Support and promote ACA, Cheer Canada and Norfort Gymnastics ? Create yearly training plans ? Provide monthly report to the BOD ? Maintain all count sheets, writing out all counts, matching counts to teams assigned music ? Coordinate choreography weekends/extra training to ensure all teams have an acceptable routine with guidelines approved by the ACA, ICU, USASF ? Communicate with parents on class structures and changes, child's progress, competition information and any concerns that may arise ?
