Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Manufacture. Industrial. Tasks: Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. Plan, set up and administer accounting systems. Analyze clients' financial records. Arrange training for staff. Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control. Develop financial plans for clients. Prepare reports and audit findings. Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planning. Prepare financial statements and reports. Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices. Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure. Prepare income tax returns from accounting records. Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation. Analyze financial documents and reports. Examine accounting records. Investigate possible unethical conduct or breeches of securities or commodity futures law. Provide financial, business and tax advice. Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits. Variance analysis. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Oversee payroll administration. Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
