Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Noisy. Dusty. Hot. Work setting: Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Pave and rake asphalt. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Equipment and machinery experience: Reciprocating saws. Circular saws. Drills. Hand tools. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Roofing. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Manual dexterity. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads.
