  • Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Review engineering projects to approve or recommend changes
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for engineering work
  • Hire, train, direct and motivate staff
  • Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Advise senior management
  • Manage contracts
  • Develop risk management plans
  • Leading/instructing groups
  • Conduct performance reviews
