*Objective*
Inhaus Surfaces is rapidly growing and needs skilled, competent team members to support this. The culture is supportive and success focused. This role calls for commitment to project success, dedication to quality, and understanding of the production process. Upon joining the team, the Designer will be promptly trained and tasked with:
- Assessing and creating first class image files for production on industrial printer
- Supporting various production processes to ensure every order is delivered on time with top quality
- Keeping records
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
In the coming months, the Designer will play a pivotal role in the rapid expansion the business is experiencing.
*Major Functions and Scope*
· Scan original physical samples for digitization and edit files in Photoshop to create Image Files
· Asses produced pieces and alter Image files to produce final Master Décor Files
· Organize receiving, storage, scanning, and return or disposal of original physical samples
· Scan original physical samples and create and maintain precise library of completed files
· Keep scanner and environment clean and well maintained (equipment training will be provided)
· Operate the equipment and interface with the software required
*Knowledge, Experience, Competencies*
*Education and Knowledge*
- Technical diploma or degree in related field of study (Graphic Design, Industrial Design)
- Exceptional competence with digital image editing (Photoshop at minimum)
*Experience*
- Required: Photoshop
- Advantage: 1+ year experience in industry (digital imaging or similar)
- Advantage: Illustrator and other 2D and 3D image editing
- A detailed portfolio or demonstration of skill is required for assessment

- Attendance is required full time at the Inhaus Production Facility (in Richmond, BC.)
